Max Roofing Solutions is a fully licensed roof tiling company with extensive experience in all aspects of roof tiling. Ashley Blair, the director, completed his apprenticeship as a “Roof Slater and Tiler” in 1989. Ashley was contracted to Boral Montoro P/L for over 18 years, installing new tiled roofs on all building types from small extensions to commercial high rise works.

Ashley and all his current employees have completed their roofing apprenticeships and have their “White Cards”, “Work Safely in the Construction Industry” and “Working at heights” certificates.

During his time in the industry, Ashley has employed up to 22 men at a time and has mentored 6 employees to complete their apprenticeships.

The nature of Queensland weather, and it’s associated storm season, has made Ashley and his team experts in leak detection, roof reports, roof restorations and storm damage. The team has an excellent repour with all insurance companies.

Unfortunately, we meet many people who’ve spent thousands of dollars on roof restorations and later discover other underlying issues and their roof still leaking …

It is very upsetting for the home owner, who has just paid for a roof restoration and then painted the interior of their home, to find water marks on their ceiling return during the next storm season. Of course, the roof restorers, who are often not licensed tradesman or inexperienced in leak detection, will not be accountable for the ongoing leaks, claiming they have done “their job”. (Even though the salesman would have said the tiles were porous and the restoration will fix any leaks. Try finding that in writing!). Rest assured, we will not restore and paint a roof until all other underlying problems are addressed appropriately.

Max Roofing Solutions recommends one of our full roof inspections and reports when purchasing your new property. Many sellers do not intentionally sell a property with a faulty roof but it is often the case. If problems are encountered, we will explain them, in simple terms, and then guide your plan of attack towards rectification.
